Millennials in Travel (MIT), a career-development organization for young professionals in the travel industry, has announced the launch of two new chapters in Chicago and Atlanta. Members can network through monthly events, social media forums and volunteering opportunities as well as access job placement opportunities within the industry.

Officers in the Chicago chapter, which will launch at the Park Hyatt Chicago on July 23, consist of Miriam Geiser with MoonRings, Melissa Pugh with Jetset World Travel, Meg Loomis with Park Hyatt Chicago and Robin Lee with Pierbusseti. Leaders of the Atlanta Chapter, which will launch at Mandarin Oriental, Atlanta on July 25, include Ansley Thomas with Smartflyer, Lindsey Epperly with Columbus Travel and Adriane Tippin with Intercontinental Hotel Group. MIT will continue its domestic growth in 2013 with chapter development in Las Vegas, Washington, D.C., San Diego and New York City.
