Highlights
Yerevan, Echmiadzin, Garni and Dilijan are the primary destinations on the six-day Armenian Culture trip with Sunny Land Tours. In the capital city of Yerevan, travelers will visit the Matenadaran, a state repository of medieval manuscripts and ancient books; attend hotel site inspections; and sample local food. Stops at ancient churches, monasteries and temples in Garni and beyond are also planned. To get a better taste of Armenian culture, travelers will visit the Ararat Brandy Factory, the Areni Wine Factory and an underground museum cave in Arinj village. Other trip highlights include relaxing by Sevan Lake and in Dilijan, a forested resort town. A local tour guide will escort the group throughout the trip. Hotels, meals and land transportation are included in the package.
