Pottery Barn Kids and PBteen — the specialty retail stores geared toward Pottery Barn’s youngest customers — have brought their considerable design talents to the Loews Coronado Bay Resort.

The Kids’ Club features Pottery Barn furniture that blends the resort’s seaside aesthetic with elements designed to inspire the imagination. Kids can sign up for full- and half-day sessions, and past activities have included learning Harry Potter magic tricks, rocket experiments, sand castle building and GPS-led scavenger hunts.

Teens are also part of the mix at the resort. A special lounge designed by PBteen features stylish accessories such as comfy loungers, iPod-friendly chairs and PS3 gaming consoles.

Loews Coronado Bay is located on a private 15-acre peninsula in San Diego, Calif. Amenities include three swimming pools, four restaurants and lounges, basketball and tennis courts, an 80-slip marina and access to Silver Strand State Beach, where kids can enroll to become a Junior Ranger with the California State Parks system.

The resort was recently ranked one of the “10 Best Beach Vacations in the U.S. & Caribbean” by Parents Magazine. www.loewshotels.com
